today i got out to meet some more of our great volunteers.
that is probably what i love most about the red cross.
our wonderful volunteers.
they are all ages, all walks of life.
some are millionaires, some are recent college grads just trying to make it...but they all have one thing in common.
the desire to do something bigger.
to help others.
to be part of a change in someone's life.
that is what brings us all to the red cross and that is what makes it so great.
no matter how tired we are or how much mud we get on our shoes, we just keep going back until everyone is helped.
it doesnt matter how long it takes, we stay until the job is done.
we might not get paid much or anything at all...
but we love what we do.
