hobgoblin steak and ale pie

i have been in love with steak and ale pie ever since london.
i dream of the golden goose pub and their glorious steak and ale pies with mash and peas.
last night i invited my london pals over for some homemade pie...with mash, ale and peas of course.
...it was not too shabby if i might say so myself.
