with the recent snow and ice storms across the state our blood supplies are getting low. we are currently considered stable at a 3 to 5 day supply but we like to be at a 5-7 day supply. some of our blood types like O negative are down to under a two day supply. and with the holidays getting closer we usually see up to an 5% decrease in donations from dec 23-jan 1. so basically...we need your blood!!
please consider giving the gift of life this holiday season to patients in need...it only takes about an hour from start to finish...
and patients can't take a holiday from needing blood.
