this official election worker is now off duty.
i worked from 7am-8:30pm today at the election and it was quiet the experience.
$6 an hour and priceless memories.
sure it was a long day. sure my feet are killing me from literally running around all day...
but i made new friends today...
i thanked around 1000 wonderful omahans for voting and i felt completely tied into something that was bigger than myself.
the whole u.s. was a buzz today and i am proud to have been part of such an historic election.
congrats barack.
i look forward to seeing some changes.
