pool party number 2...

was today.
it was a hit.
the skies cleared and the sun even made an appearance at the end.
there were tons of people and they ate up all the food and even drank all the booze.
the pina colada machine was amazing and there wasn't even a drop left.
with 15 minutes left of the party the properties manager had to go on a beer run.
everyone had a blast and one guy even said he was 'proud of me for doing such a good party.' haha.
next party saturday...pray its not too hot.

im sure this will be a year of good golf, beer and friends (and some family right)
tonight sure was fun!

joel and his pals josh and dan were featured on fox 42 tonight for their mad frolfing skills.

frolfing= frisbee golf.

they have done it for years and he has bags of disks that he washes weekly during the season...

it's finally paying off- him and his frolf friends are famous!

i didn't realize my last blog was number 300.

so... here is to 300 more.

my first professional pool party...

was today at one of our properties.
it was sooo hot that i didn't know if i would make it- but i did.
we had about 40 adults show up and 30 kids.

had awesome food!
bbq beef brisket sandwiches, grilled chicken, pasta salad, baked beans, chips, veggie and fruit trays...and cold beer and sodas.
i heart jack and mary's chicken!
it was a hit- i think they usually only got hot dogs and chips in the past.

we had some sweet door prizes thanks to my friend bam at clear channel and the funny bone.

my dj, glenn lewis, rocked the house.

basically not too shabby for my first big event at work.

happy firecracker day...

the fourth of july is like christmas to joel.
he loves fireworks.
so we celebrated in style.
fireworks.
homemade ice-cream.
cupcakes.
and corn dogs on the grill.
...that wasn't all- but the exciting stuff.

today i found myself actually enjoying espn...
not for the usual boring sports-
but for the sport of eating.
...these people are hardcore-
even members of the international federation of competitive eating.

im glad to have the title in the hands of an american.
better luck next time, kobayashi...just work on getting that jaw better pal.

i think it will be sonya 'the black widow' thomas...after she goes home and trains a little harder.
i mean come on a 105 lb south korean woman who has ate 10% of her body weight in cheesecake and holds 29 world titles is fine by me.
