a good friend of mine, kathy, has been working hard on a viral campaign for easter for king of kings church.
it all culminates sunday for the amazing easter service at the civic auditorium.

yesterday linsey and i finally went to see the other boleyn girl

it was just as i expected.
amazing wardrobes
amazing acting by two of my favorite leading gals.
and rolling heads.

saturday night joel and i met up with jen and matt for some fun.
they came into town from lincoln to partake in dos boot but we started the evening at the french wine joint, la buvette, in the old market.
cheese and wine for all- yumo.
then m's pub for rubens and some other delicious food.
then to the huber haus- were we stumbled upon bochfest 2008.
there was an awesome polka band and all...but no boots were being served at all this night because it was crazy busy.
...but we did roll out the barrel and have a barrel of fun.

nwn lives again...

...through film.
i made a video of their last show back in august of 06- completely forgot about it for a year and then finally got it loaded on the old mac here in jan.
then i came to the issue of not having a working disk drive...
so i bought a new one...
and upgraded my idvd and got to rockin.
it is all done now and we are having a viewing party next friday to show everyone.
im pumped to see past band friends and have some fun.
i got the theatre that seats 30 at our apartment booked and am so excited!!

today russell lambert was a superstar in omaha.
he was on 2 tv stations and our major newspaper.
the reason: he made his 700th platelet donation today...more than anyone has ever donated in nebraska.

culver's day of giving...

tomorrow is culver's day of giving and 10% of the proceeds will go the local Red Cross chapters...
go get some custard or butter burgers for a good cause.

...tomorrow i also have a live remote at 6am for a donor story.
and a 4pm live interview about red cross month...(happy red cross month everybody)
and then we have a omaha beef blood drive with a live radio remote that night.

yesterday was spring with sun and fun.
today is winter with snow and rain.
wha happened?

O! what a fun day...

saturday we spent time in the sunny sunny sun.
it was in the 60's and amazing outside...i even busted out my flip flops.
we walked around village point, ate lunch at cheese burger in paradise
saw semi pro with linsey and kyle
and played some poker with the carseys.
it was a great day.
