"To Know You…Better."

So I was looking for some fun questions to ask my fellow bloggers.
I typed in 'questions to ask to get to know someone' into google.
Vague I know. That was the point.
This is the first thing I found by Barbara and Michael Jonas it was a Special to Yahoo! Personals.

They recommend that you print and cut out these cards to try on your next date:

It's three A.M., I'm in a deep sleep -- suddenly the fire alarm goes off . . .
As you run out of the house, what's the first thing you'd grab (excluding things that breathe)?
Me: I would have to say Penny Lane, my camera, my powerbook and of course Joel. I am fast- I could grab a lot of things.

Who is most likely to make you laugh?
Me: Mr. Joel.
"He who laughs, lasts." -- Mary Poolegive

If you were to take a short class for the fun of it, what would it most likely be?
Me: A pottery class. There is just something I miss about that giant kiln and glaze.
"Education is learning what you didn't know you didn't know." -- Daniel J. Boorstin

Even though it could turn your brain into oatmeal, what "junk" TV show have you seen recently that you enjoyed?
Me: Sex in the City- I could watch that show everyday for 12 hours straight.
"Television -- chewing gum for the eyes." -- Frank Lloyd Wright

What career or school risks have you taken that turned out successfully?
Me: Working for obi as a independent contractor- scary for tax purposes- but amazing for friends and great work.
"You can't steal second base and keep one foot on first." -- Unknown

What type of music do you listen to most often and what do you like about it?
Me: I listen to a lot of music...and love it all. I have been really into some indie lately- The Postal Service and The Garden State Soundtrack are a few of my all time faves.
"I only know two pieces of music, one is Claire de Lune, the other isn't." -- Victor Borge

What recreational activity do you enjoy sharing with a partner?
Me: I would have to say kissing with Joel.
"Playing tennis by yourself can be very difficult." -- Unknown

Which celebrity would you like to meet for lunch . . . what would you like to talk about?
Me: Conan O'Brien- I would talk about everything- including the year 2000.
"A celebrity is a person who works hard all his life to become known, then wears dark glasses to avoid being recognized."
-- Fred Allen

The 24-hour day has been extended to 28 -- four more hours! What will you do with the extra time?
Me:I would probably take some naps and play outside more.
"Carpe diem -- Seize the day!" -- Horace

Do you work hard at a hobby? What is it?
Me: I would have to say photography. I love it. I wish I would have more time to do it- and will someday do it full time.
"A hobby is hard work one wouldn't do for a living." -- Unknown

How about you guys?

yay! these are fun!

1. In the event of a fire, i would grab my purse and my drawer of pictures. i would want to grab my bed, but i'm not that strong.

2. i laugh the hardest with stevie b/c we've known each other for so long that i think we've developed the exact same sense of humor. also, my friend joe and i laugh til no end when we get together.

3. I would take acting, singing, dancing, and piano classes. maybe guitar and drums too. i think i would enjoy dancing the most. i LOVE dance classes.

4. Girls Next Door. i just love those bunnies.

5. career risk...not accepting a full time position at alegent and taking another internship at hawkins.

6. i've been listening to the garden state soundtrack a lot lately too! I like all music except screamo. i'm also not a big fan of a lot of techno or country. haven't been too impressed with the mainstream, mtv stuff lately either. my fav is the local stuff just b/c i think it means a lot more when you know the artists personally. you appreciate your friends' hard work and talent. plus we have some awesome bands here!

7. Foosball is not as much fun playing by yourself. :)

8. I would have lunch with Johnny Depp. We would not talk. We would make out.

9. 4 extra hours? i would love to say that i'd volunteer or spend it outside or with my family or clean or read. but who am i kidding? i'd sleep. i just know i would.
